2020 City of Saginaw Polar Bear Plunge - A HUGE Success!
On Saturday, January 11th, Saginaw TX Mayor Todd Flippo, Council Members Patrick Farr and Valerie Tankersley, City Manager Gabe Reaume, Director of Community Services Keith Rinehart, the entire Animal Services staff, and a few others went for a polar plunge in the Saginaw Aquatic Center. Their “plunge” helped raise over $1,100 for the Saginaw Animal Services and Adoption Center. It was a chilly Saturday morning as snow fell early but fortunately warmed to a balmy 41 degrees at game time. The water was bone chilling but everyone had a fun time and the animals benefited greatly!
